AgriSETA-Funded Graduate Placement Programme

This week, Scientific Roots and AgriBioTech proudly welcome four new team members who have joined us under the AgriSETA-Funded Graduate Placement Programme.

The graduates, Miss Andiswa Nene, Mr Siphamandla Ndwandwe, Miss Noluthando Nkabane, and Miss Inam Mbulawa, have been appointed as Research and Agripreneurial Development Practitioners, strengthening our capacity in botanical and plant science–driven research, rural innovation, and agripreneurship development.

Each brings strong academic credentials and a passion for applied agricultural science:

Miss Inam Mbulawa obtained her Advanced Diploma in Horticulture (Cum Laude) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Mr Siphamandla Ndwandwe holds a BSc in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Miss Andiswa Happiness Nene holds a BSc Honours in Botany from the University of Zululand.

Miss Noluthando Nkabane holds a BSc in Botany and is currently completing her Honours degree at the University of Zululand.

With their strong botanical and plant-science backgrounds, the four graduates will contribute to research projects, field-based innovation, and agripreneurial development initiatives aimed at building sustainable rural enterprises and strengthening community-based agricultural systems.

Scientific Roots and AgriBioTech look forward to their contributions and wish them every success as they begin this exciting professional journey with the organisation.
