Ethnic Staples and Bhanti at the Spring Festival Market
Ethnic staples had the opportunity to attend a local market to showcase their products among other entrepreneurs. This was an exciting day for Staples because we got to meet new clients and showcase our products and get some feedback. It is always interesting to attend markets because we meet fellow entrepreneurs, interact with potential clients, expose our products to new clientele, and share our story of healthy eating lifestyles by infusing different ethnicities into our products which is always amusing to our clients.
Ethnic staples was short listed to do presentation for the “Women with disability program” in Ixopo, this was a great opportunity for us to elaborate more on the needs of the business, where we are, were we would like to see our company in the near future. We had prepared a PowerPoint presentation that went very well, hoping to be selected in the top 3, we were up against 3 other females. It was not only a great opportunity but also a learning curve for us. We have yet to receive a call on who the top 3 winners are.
This is a picture of a customer showing us how they enjoyed our spicy flavored Roti, served with chicken, spinach, butternut, and gravy.
Bhanti Manufacturing Co also had the opportunity to showcase their products, ranging from different size picnic bags and horse feeding bags, Bhanti is a company that uses scrap convey belt materials.
